Oniwabanshuu

Aoshi Shinomori

Aoshi Shinomori is the leader of the Oniwabanshuu. He is obsessed with being the best. He was hired by Kanryu, and fought Kenshin and lost. After the other 4 members died, he cut their heads off and made graves for them. He wandered around, looking for the opportunity to become the best. He threw away everything for this dream. He almost killed Okina when he found out Kenshin was staying there. He and Kenshin fight again, and Kenshin returns him to the way he once was. He moved back with the other Oniwabanshuu.

Hyottoko

Hyottoko is big, fat, and not very smart. He uses oil in his mouth to spit fire.

Shikijo

Shikijo has rock-hard muscles, and uses a ball and chain.

Beshimi

Beshimi uses poison darts. He poisoned Yahiko with one.

Hannya

Hannya is the second most-skilled member of the Oniwabanshuu. He learned from Aoshi. He uses stripes on his arm to cause the illusion of them being longer. He also has metal gauntlets and claws (Wolverine style). He has no ears, nose, hair, lips, or color in his eyes because he is a spy, and a master of disguise.

Okina

Not much to say about Okina, except he is an old pervert. He’s also the former leader of the Oniwabanshuu.

Misao Makimachi

Misao is in love with Aoshi. When she finds out Kenshin knows him, she doesn’t shut up about him, or quit asking Kenshin about him. After Aoshi nearly kills Okina, she appoints herself leader of the Oniwabanshuu. She is strong, and gifted with Kunai.
